ಪದುಳದಿಂ ಮೊಮ್ಮಂಗೆ ಕೊಡಲು ಸಿಹಿಯಹುದೆ? ||
ಹೃದಯವೊಳಿತಾದೊಡೇಂ? ತಿಳಿವಿಹುದೆ? ಜಾಣಿಹುದೆ? |
ಸುಧೆ ಬಂತೆ ಸುಲಭದಲಿ? - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||
